David Douglas Educational Foundation sends a

HUGE THANK YOU

to all our supporters who helped us reach our goal during the Marching to the Beat of a Different Drummer Fundraiser!

The Spring 2023 fundraiser is over, but your donation will keep on giving. Your generosity will help students in our nine elementary schools. The equipment purchased from your donations are intended to:

  • Support elementary students with sensory & self-regulating equipment.

  • Help students focus on learning.

  • Provide flexible seating options for students who need to move around in order to focus in the classroom.

  • Provide “calm corners” where students may have a break inside the classroom to gain control of their emotions.

    Equipment may include foot bands, seat cushions, noise cancelling headphones, pencil grips, rockers, wobble chairs, weighted blankets, etc.
