Representative Jeff Reardon

Jeff Reardon was born and raised in Kelso, WA, in a family with both strong union ties and an appreciation of the value, opportunities, and riskiness of small businesses. Jeff is a Vietnam War veteran who served for three years on a nuclear-powered submarine. He was the first in his family to graduate college, with help from the GI Bill program. He taught a variety of career and technical subjects for 16 years. His career also spans 21 years for Tektronix, Inc. Color Printer Division, first as a technical writer and finally as a corporate communications manager. For 10 years, he served the David Douglas School District on a variety of committees and on its board of directors. First elected to the Oregon legislature in 2012, he chairs the House Higher Education and Workforce Development Committee. He has also served on these committees: Energy, Agriculture & Natural Resources, and Education.
