Anna Pickel

Board Member

Anna Pickel became involved with the David Douglas Educational Foundation in 2017 and officially joined the board in 2018.

Anna has two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in Business Marketing and one in Advertising from Portland State University. After finishing college, she spent some time working in corporate America before deciding to start her own company. Anna has owned and operated Happy Go Lucky Childcare since 2012, which is a licensed family childcare serving 16 children.

Anna has lived in the David Douglas School District with her husband since 2011 and has two young children. Their oldest son is in middle school and her youngest son is in elementary. Supporting and helping children is a strong passion for Anna, which is why she wanted to become involved with DDEF. Anna plans to have an active role with the district and foundation for many years to come.
